What Seedance 2.0 is good at

Best for

  • Campaign film and fashion motion up to 15 seconds.
  • Fabric in movement: drape, swing, the weight of a coat.
  • Clips with native, synchronised sound.
  • Transitions between a start frame and an end frame.
  • Fast iteration and social cuts, on Seedance 2.0 Fast.

Reach for something else when

  • Takes longer than 15 seconds. Seedance 2.5 runs a single shot up to 30.
  • Holding several characters or products from references. Seedance 2.5 Reference or Vidu takes multiple subject images; 2.0 does not.
  • The most controlled product spin, where Kling 3.0 is built for turntables and detail shots.

In Misu

  • Selectable in the Video Studio as Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.0 Fast, and on Canvas video nodes.
  • On Auto, a prompt-only draft with no start frame goes to Seedance 2.0 Fast.
  • Both tiers run from text alone, so a brief with no image can still become a clip.
  • Character Lock picks the identity frame that matches your shot's angle and framing as the start frame.
  • When the Director writes the prompt, it follows Seedance's structure: hook, motion arc, subject, lighting, environment, atmosphere, audio.

Using Seedance 2.0 in Misu

  1. 01

    Pick the tier

Seedance 2.0 for the final. Seedance 2.0 Fast to find the motion first, at lower cost and a quicker return.

  2. 02

    Give it a frame

Choose a still from your Library, upload one, or cast a model and let Character Lock choose the frame. Add an end frame for a controlled transition.

  3. 03

    Set length, format and sound

Any length from 4 to 15 seconds, 480p or 720p, audio on or off. The cost moves with the length.

  4. 04

    Iterate, then finish

Settle the motion on Fast, then run the same prompt on 2.0 for the version that ships.

04

Prompting it for fashion and product

Lead with the hook. What happens in the first two seconds decides whether the clip holds, so put the key action at the top of the prompt.

Describe fabric by its behaviour, not its name. "Wide linen trousers swing a beat behind each step" gives the model more to work with than "linen trousers".

Keep camera language simple: one move per clip. A slow push-in or a steady track reads as intentional. Three moves in eight seconds reads as noise.

Use the end frame when the last pose matters. A turn that has to finish facing camera, or a bag that has to settle on its strap, is easier to land with both frames set.
